Burial Shroud 1: The Patriarchy

I’m interested in how we, as humans, create and practice rituals around loss in all it’s many forms; and the purpose that serves. I’ve recently begun exploring burial shrouds as art objects. “Burial Shroud 1: The Patriarchy” is the first shroud in a series. This piece is my invitation for the viewer to contemplate the end of the Patriarchy, what that might look like, and what comes next.
